Electric duct heaters EKA … NV PTC are designed to heat fresh air in ventilation systems and respond to the air flow in the duct. The air flow through the heater cannot be less than 1.5 m/s. If there is air flow in the duct, the PTC sensor provides a signal that allows heating to start, depending on the heating value set on the heater. If there is no air flow inside the heater, heating is prevented (regardless of the need for heating). Electric duct heaters EKA … NV PTC include an integrated temperature controller with precise temperature control, operating with a power-on/pause algorithm. The regulator controls the load with triacs without moving parts, which ensures silent operation. A potentiometer is used to set the temperature. A manual thermal contact reset button and temperature setting are located on the device. A duct temperature sensor is included. The heater is powered from the mains, and the contactor operates the heating via the differential pressure switch PS. The pressure switch PS operates when a pressure difference occurs in the duct.
