EKS electric duct heaters are designed for heating fresh air in ventilation systems. The device casing is made of high heat-resistant aluzinc-coated steel. The heating elements are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The heaters are equipped with 2 protection thermostats and screw terminals for easy connection. The casing has a rubber seal for air duct connection.
All EKS electric duct heaters have two-stage overheating protection:
1) The first stage activates when the temperature reaches 50 °C (automatically resets - automatic reset function).
2) The second stage activates when the temperature reaches 100 °C (manually resets via a button on the casing – manual reset function).
Heaters can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Maximum outlet air temperature is 50 °C. EKS does not have an internal temperature controller. In this case, external heating controllers EKR are used.
