Fast-Reacting VAV Terminal Units

STEKON SDR-F adjusts the conditioned air volume sent to the room based on data received from the thermostat or building automation system, ensuring minimal pressure drop and low noise levels. Thanks to the air flow sensor inside the unit, it detects instantaneous air changes and positions the damper to deliver the desired air volume independently of pressure.

The fast-reacting VAV damper adjusts the damper position very quickly, in under 3 seconds, and maintains the medium flow rate or pressure at the desired value instantly. They are used in critical environments such as cleanrooms and fume hood systems. They have the capability for 100% airtight closure when required.

For comfort applications, they are designed with dynamic sensors; if chemicals are present in the environment, they are designed with static sensors.
